Tuesday Nov 07, 2023
Tuesday Nov 07, 2023
Episode 236 features John and Terry from Bootleggers & Baptists. They are a bluesy swamp rock band hailing from the Baltimore area. We've played some shows together over the years, and I've also shot some videos for them, so this interview has been a long time coming. The guys have a new EP called 'Aside' out now, and I wanted to get them on to talk about it. The EP features 5 tracks, and I featured 'Shauna' as well as 'Body Song.' If you like either of them, you can definitely stream them wherever you listen to music. In the conversation, we talked about their recording and writing process, as well as some of the local venues they've played, and a bunch of other random stuff, including our mutual friends Old Eastern and Alisha O’malley. So whether you are friends or fans of theirs, hopefully, you enjoy the conversation. Thanks for listening and supporting local music. Trigger warning: if you enjoy Crocs, you may be offended by this episode.
