Episode 12: Matt Harris
Friday Apr 24, 2020
Friday Apr 24, 2020
Welcome to episode to 12 with my long time friend Matt Harris. He’s currently playing in a GNR tribute called Ounce of Pain as well as cover bands by the names of Shelby Hotwire and The Rosin Creek Band out on the eastern shore of Maryland. I’ve played guitar in some of the bands with him off and on over the years. Matt can really shriek when it comes to singing. We had a good FaceTime chat about all sorts of things, including swimming with Michael Phelps, and his newly minted status as a dad. As always I did my best with the sound quality under the circumstances. Hopefully everyone is safe and sane out there. Have a good weekend.

What's up welcome to episode 11 of the podcast. This week featuring Daniel Fitzgerald of the band Genosha. They are a Virginia hardcore band that's been working on music for about the last 5-6 years now. They have 3 albums out and an EP. One of their songs is featured at the end of the episode and linked here at the bottom. Daniel and I had a good chat about all things music and business. Hopefully if you are a friend of his or a fan of the band you'll dig it. In any case, happy four two oh. Cheers.

Episode 10: Felix Nieto (Crashing Atlas/The Hollow Truths)
Friday Apr 17, 2020
Friday Apr 17, 2020
Welcome to episode 10 (a small accomplishment I suppose). Felix is a good friend of mine and happens to be playing bass in my band lately. He also recored our last EP Parasocial in his home studio. He’s been around the block as far as bands go. His last band Crashing Atlas had some success both online and playing/touring. Felix is also recorded the podcast theme song (thanks dude). In any case, he is very well spoken and was able to share some behind the scenes stuff both in reference to recording as well as playing.

Episode 9: Phoenix of Stone Cold Chakra
Tuesday Apr 14, 2020
Tuesday Apr 14, 2020
So today's episode is special because Stone Cold Chakra is releasing a new EP today called Suspension Point. I first met Phoenix at Baltimore Soundstage when she was playing in a band called Outlet. I've since run into her at open mic's and the like. I think she has a really well rounded sound and great voice. And like myself, she also has a taste for the 90's. In any case we talked about all things music as well as some much heavier stuff. At the end of the episode is one of Stone Cold Chakra's new songs. I will also add links here to the new EP.

Episode 7: Ryan Keith & Tom from Over Under
Friday Apr 10, 2020
Friday Apr 10, 2020
This special Friday release episode features Ryan and Tom of the band Over Under. They are a cover band from Annapolis. I first met Ryan while he was bartending at a favorite haunt of mine and we became friends. For this episode the band was able to record an awesome cover of one of my favorites Tyler Childer’s song “Whitehouse Road.” Which is linked below. Ryan has a great voice and Tom is a talented guitar player (who likes Danny Gatton). I will also add the link on insta and facebook. If you frequent any Annapolis area establishments be sure to follow them on insta and facebook as well.

Episode 5: Nick Thompson - Surfinonthelake
Monday Mar 30, 2020
Monday Mar 30, 2020
Episode 5 features Nick Thompson or @surfinonthelake as he goes by on social media. I really dig Nick's voice. He kinda reminds me of Everlast. But he certainly has his own style going on. I'd personally describe his music as laid back acoustic rock with a bit of rap mixed in. It fit's perfectly into my summer/beach playlist. You can typically find him out playing the dock bars in Annapolis and around the DMV area in general. He also does tracks for hire on a case by case basis if you need any guitar work done. His music is on Spotify and iTunes. In this episode we discuss what he's been up to and some of experiences playing around town. Hope everyone is doing alright out there under the circumstances.
