Episode 13: Joey Harkum

My guest today is Baltimore music scene veteran Joey Harkum. He’s built a passinate following over the years both through his first band Pasadena as well as through his current solo project. He’s typically out of the road most of year playing all around North America and Europe. I definitely consider him an inspiration as songwriter and musician. He sings with passion and has plenty of stories to tell. At the end of the episode his new song "Burn It Down" is featured. I will also add some links to his music. Episode 12: Matt Harris

Welcome to episode to 12 with my long time friend Matt Harris. He’s currently playing in a GNR tribute called Ounce of Pain as well as cover bands by the names of Shelby Hotwire and The Rosin Creek Band out on the eastern shore of Maryland. I’ve played guitar in some of the bands with him off and on over the years. Matt can really shriek when it comes to singing. We had a good FaceTime chat about all sorts of things, including swimming with Michael Phelps, and his newly minted status as a dad. Episode 10: Felix Nieto (Crashing Atlas/The Hollow Truths)

Welcome to episode 10 (a small accomplishment I suppose). Felix is a good friend of mine and happens to be playing bass in my band lately. He also recored our last EP Parasocial in his home studio. He’s been around the block as far as bands go. His last band Crashing Atlas had some success both online and playing/touring. Felix is also recorded the podcast theme song (thanks dude). In any case, he is very well spoken and was able to share some behind the scenes stuff both in reference to recording as well as playing.

Episode 9: Phoenix of Stone Cold Chakra

So today's episode is special because Stone Cold Chakra is releasing a new EP today called Suspension Point. I first met Phoenix at Baltimore Soundstage when she was playing in a band called Outlet. I've since run into her at open mic's and the like. I think she has a really well rounded sound and great voice. And like myself, she also has a taste for the 90's. In any case we talked about all things music as well as some much heavier stuff. At the end of the episode is one of Stone Cold Chakra's new songs. I will also add links here to the new EP.

Episode 7: Ryan Keith & Tom from Over Under

This special Friday release episode features Ryan and Tom of the band Over Under. They are a cover band from Annapolis. I first met Ryan while he was bartending at a favorite haunt of mine and we became friends. For this episode the band was able to record an awesome cover of one of my favorites Tyler Childer’s song “Whitehouse Road.” Which is linked below. Episode 6 features Kristin Rebecca who is a local full time musician. She's a harpist, vocalist, songwriter, and guitar player. We discussed some of her philosophies on music and art as well as her ambitions moving forward. She has toured the west coast is continuing to broader her reach.
