Episode 190: Sam Mago of Anything Is Everything (Pop Punk) [Chicago, IL]
Monday Mar 13, 2023
Monday Mar 13, 2023
Episode 190 features Sam from Anything Is Everything who are Chicago’s self-proclaimed “Worst Punk Band.” They just dropped a brand new album called, “A Tragic Optimism” which features the single “Remedy.” I featured the song on this episode and if you like it you can find Anything Is Everything on any and all streaming platforms. Sam is the first guest I’ve had on the show from Chi-town thus far so I got to pick his brain a bit about their scene and the state of indie music in their city. We had also had a lot of shared philosophies to talk about regarding altruism in the music scene so the conversation definitely went by quickly. Hopefully wherever you are listening in from you enjoy it and if you are friends or fans of Anything Is Everything you get a kick out of it. And if you are not yet fans of Sam’s maybe you will be afterward, who knows. As always thanks for listening and supporting local bands.
