Episode 210: Levi Hebeisen of ”Live From The Garage” (Maryland) [Indie Rock/House Shows]

Episode 210 features Levi Hebeisen of Blue Cadet and Alaska’s Angels. Two indie rock bands from the Montgomery County area in Maryland. Levi also hosts his own house shows called Live From The Garage. He has shows most weekends and  if you're listening to this episode it’s possible you or someone you know has played there over the past couple years. Episode 209: Travis Daniels of Bend The Knee (Hardcore) [Richmond, VA]

Episode 209 features Travis Daniels of the Virgina hardcore band Bend The Knee. They have a brand new album that dropped today called “The Eyes Behind the Algorithm” and I featured the track “The Darkness Shines A Light.” Travis and I used to work together so I’ve been trying to get him on the show for a while now. We had a fun time catching up and talking about everything he’s been up to. He’s a new dad, and still working hard on the job, so we had plenty to talk about on that front. We also discussed his creative process and some of the shows that Bend The Knee has booked this summer. If you are friends of fans of his hopefully you enjoy the episode. Part-Time Rockstar Fest recap episode Feat. The Hollow Truths (Alex/Will/Brett)

This week's episode recaps this weekends event at Fishhead Cantina in Baltimore where we hosted 14 bands. Big Tthanks to everyone who came out and to all the bands who played. Episode 207: Will Barkley (Singer/songwriter) [Arlington, VA]

Episode 207 features Will Barkley who is a singer & songwriter originally from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Currently residing in Arlington, Virginia. He is jumping on the bill TOMORROW SATURDAY JUNE 3RD AT THE 2ND ANNUAL PART TIME ROCKSTAR FEST. Will is currently writing and recording an album called “3115” that’s being recorded in Leesburg, Virginia with producer Indichi Makeyzo. The album falls under the country rock brand, but will have a wide variety of sound not necessarily falling under one genre. Will originally played in multiple bands from Pennsylvania including The Final Conversation and Pocket Jacks. The bands and Will have played across the United States with various touring acts from multiple genres. In the next year, Will plans to release the “3115” album, play more shows throughout the DMV and will be recording a single in Nashville and playing a series of shows there later in 2023.

Episode 206: Kruiser - Liam & Mikey (Hard Rock) [Columbia, MD]

Episode 206 features Liam & Mikey of Kruiser who are a hard rock band originally from Hartford County, MD. They have a new song out called “Take You For A Ride”  which I featured on this episode. I would describe their sound as a bit throwback to 80’s hair metal. Although they definitely add some modern elements. In our conversation we talked about the new music that they’ve been making and the cities they’ve been playing lately. Kruiser has made it down to Nashville to play as well as up to NYC the other weekend. The guys are still fairly young and have a lot of good years ahead them as a band so be on the look out for good things to come.
